Siebel Institute Chicago Campus

The Siebel Institute of Technology has been part of the Chicago landscape since 1872. While the mandate of the school has always been to provide a world-class brewing education, the school itself has changed both form and location since its creation over 130 years ago.

In August 2008, the Siebel Institute of Technology moved into its new campus facilities at 1777 North Clybourn Avenue across from Goose Island Brewpub on North Clybourn in Chicago. Located in the heart of the bustling Lincoln Park district, Goose Island has become one of the largest regional breweries in America, operating two brewpubs and one large packaging brewery in the Chicago area. The new Siebel Institute campus has incorporated many of the elements of the previous location including the bar and furnishings from the famous Bier Stube, a favorite spot where students socialized after a hard day’s study. Wireless internet access throughout the building allows students to conduct research and stay in touch with home while in the comfortable confines of our campus.

Our new location at North Clybourn lies within walking distance of downtown Chicago, offering students the full experience of one of the world's greatest cities including:

  • Thousands of restaurants, from small ethnic food bistros to places like Hard Rock Cafe and House Of Blues
  • Cultural pursuits such as the Field Museum, Chicago Art Institute, and numerous theatrical and operatic presentations
  • Miles of parkways, and one of America's most beautiful urban beachfronts
  • National sports teams such as the Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and White Sox. Wrigley Field, one of America's most beautiful baseball stadiums, is only minutes away from our new location.
