The Siebel Institute of Technology is proud to present the most important business program available in brewing education. Brewing ProfitAbility®, is a transparent model of the financial workings of a brewery, complete with brewing lines, sales, marketing and financial operations. The content is designed to give a global overview of how a brewery works and to make the learning of strategic planning, marketing and financial concepts as easy and enjoyable as possible. It is extremely effective in teaching participants the skills necessary to understand how decisions impact the bottom line and produces immediate practical results.

How does it work?

Six teams compete in an open market environment. Each team has a board and various colored chips - a visual representation of your business. You buy and sell brewing lines, hire employees, make capital investments, take out loans, research the competition and make decisions to influence your position in the marketplace. You learn by experience and the competitive nature of the simulation presents a true business-like challenge. Before leaving, you will immediately apply your learning, seeking opportunities to increase profit and enhance cash flow back in your workplace.

Who will present Brewing ProfitAbility®?

The Brewing ProfitAbility®, program is designed and presented in partnership with ProfitAbility Business Solutions, a UK based company dedicated to producing world class experiential learning materials and simulations that produce immediate business results. PBS has worked with companies like Guinness, Nestle, and Abbott Laboratories to develop business simulations to match the products, markets and business drivers of their companies.
