Designing, building and operating a successful brewery requires a mix of business and brewing knowledge. The Siebel Institute Start Your Own Brewery course covers brewpub and microbrewery design and startup issues that you need to understand to get your business rolling.
This 3-day course is designed and conducted by Ray Daniels and Siebel Institute brewing faculty, and augmented by specialists in brewery operations and business planning. Along with content that addresses brewery related issues, the course also features successful brewery entrepreneurs - from brew pubs to regional breweries - who will share their stories and answer questions from the class, along with presentations on marketing, legal issues, and distribution
The Start Your Own Brewery course presents the issues that every prospective brewery owner should know to help build a successful business from the ground up while avoiding many of the most common pitfalls and mistakes which can compromise the efficiency and profitability of the brewery.
All students applying for a program, module or course must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
For this course, prior brewing knowledge is not required.
