INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL BREWING COURSE
Prior brewing knowledge is not required, but students will benefit from existing knowledge of brewing technologies and/or related sciences. Working in the commercial brewing industry requires diverse knowledge about the process of creating beer. Brewers who are looking to master the art & science of brewing need to start with a sound foundation of understanding in the most critical areas of the brewing process, and for those brewers, the World Brewing Academy Concise Course in Brewing Technology is the perfect choice.

The two-week WBA Concise Course provides students with comprehensive knowledge of the brewing process, the dynamics of brewery operations, and socioeconomic issues affecting the industry. Based on the famous Siebel Institute Short Course, the Concise Course is designed and presented by instructors from Siebel Institute and Doemens Academy, two of the world’s leading brewing educators. Our instructors work closely with our students to assure maximum understanding of the materials presented in our campuses. Within the short time span of this course, students will gain a level of industry knowledge that will benefit them in any area of responsibility in the brewery, covering every topic critical to successful brewery operations.

Extensive use of electronic media & instructor-mediated discussion allows students to understand the most advanced topics, no matter their level of previous technical experience. Instructors work to encourage class interaction and participation, making for a dynamic and informative learning environment. This is an ideal course for those considering entry into the brewing industry, as well as those pursuing wider knowledge of the business in order to improve their skills and advance in their brewing careers.

The WBA Concise Course is offered in both our Siebel Institute Chicago location and our Doemens Academy Munich location (conducted in English), giving students the opportunity to experience two of the world’s most exciting and beer-friendly cities.
