Starting Monday, August 2nd, we will be kicking off our 3-day "Start Your Own Brewery course" and will be adjusting our COVID classroom requirements based on the latest CDC and City of Chicago information.
Requirements now will include the following:
- Masks must be worn the entire time within the Siebel space (masks must completely cover the nose and mouth) and we recommend following CDC guidelines outside of Siebel as well for individual safety. Many bars and restaurants are pivoting as well due to the increase in infections for not only for the unvaccinated, but for the vaccinated (breakthroughs).
- We will be utilizing the bar area for maximum spacing of individuals and choice of seating
- Sanitizer stations will be located in a number of locations throughout our space, and students will be encouraged to wipe down their tables regularly, and wash their hands ad use hand sanitizer frequently
- Bathrooms will be wiped down periodically throughout the day and each evening
By following these very simple procedures, we expect to be able to conduct our classroom operations in a safe and responsible manner for not only our students, but our instructors and staff as well. We are all in this together!
